Stock Market Challenge

Five Year 11 pupils took part in the stock market challenge where they learnt about investments and the pressurised atmosphere of the stock exchange.

Both girls and boys were enthusiastically engaged as they learnt about the risk-return trade-offs of investing. They also benefitted from the opportunities that Global Investor provides for developing and applying Maths skills.

The competitions' key objectives are to enable students to apply their learning in Applied Maths and Business, and to develop business awareness, transferable and employability skills and enterprise and entrepreneurship.
