Successful Results for GCSE Pupils at Friends'

Congratulations to all those who received GCSE results today. Everyone at school is delighted with the success achieved and there are so many different success stories that it would be impossible to mention them all.

26% of the grades obtained by pupils were at A*, with 66% at A* or A and 85% at grade B or above, which is all the more impressive given the recent changes to the grading system.

Eleven pupils achieved 10 or more A*s: Bethany Au achieved 11 A* grades, with Molly Davidson, Alice Francey, Joshua Hamilton, Ellie Knox, Seren Mageean, Rachel McElrath, Alena Morrison, Lara Poole, Holly Thompson and Rachel Wilson each achieving 10 A*s.
