GCSE Reception

GCSE Awards were recently given out at a reception held at School on Friday 22 October 2021 . The Guest of Honour was Aly Harte.

Old Scholars’ Prize:

Old Scholars’ Prize winners awarded for outstanding achievement at GCSE level who all gained A* grades in each of their ten or eleven subjects include: Sarah Agnew, Judith Brown, Caitlyn Capper, Rose Eccles, Abdulahad Farooqui, Rachel Graham, Hollie Hunter, Charlotte Johnston, Lucy Johnston, Leo Kennedy, Mikayla Kyle, Helen Lyster, Kiera Miel-Delbederi, Annabelle Millen, Abi Sweeney, Natasha Whiteside and Megan Wilson.

Friends’ Year 12 GCSE subject prize winners include Sarah Fong (English Literature), Judith Brown (History, Mathematics and Religious Studies), Finlay Crawford (Chemistry), Rose Eccles (Physics) and Sarah Agnew (Food and Nutrition).

GCSE June McKeown Cup:

Friends’ Year 12 pupil Sam Netherton was awarded the June McKeown Cup for Endeavour and Achievement in Science.
